Broadcasters trade digital signage tips at ABS networking event

A stage at Jonas Jensen’s Fremont Studios, the location for ABS’ networking and product demonstration event held earlier this month in Seattle.
Advanced Broadcast Solutions (ABS) hosted a networking and product demonstration event with more than 1500 program directors, news directors, engineers, general managers, producers and production managers representing all facets of the broadcast, education, government, corporate video and house of worship video production markets.
The event was held at Jonas Jensen’s Fremont Studios — a 50,000sq-ft soundstage production facility located in Seattle’s Fremont Art District.
Fremont Studios has two large studio areas and a theater that housed the attendees, as well as product demonstrations and an HD screening room. Within Studio A, guests socialized and dined while being entertained by live music provided by local band “Missing the Saint.” Lounge-style areas allowed guests to relax while becoming familiar with new products being displayed by top companies in the industry.
Presentations provided guests the opportunity to learn the latest about production and broadcast workflows, acquiring HD footage and creating an automated HD newsroom.
