Crispin has added Rapid Collector, a diagnostic and reporting application, to Crispin 4 Life, the company’s free 24/7 support plan.
Through the use of a simple user interface, Crispin customers now have the ability to rapidly collect device and application logs along with system information for diagnostic purposes. The application, which runs on Windows NT and XP workstations, accesses Crispin workstations on the network to collect information.
Customers are able to input additional details including operator name, contact information, date and time the incident occurred and provide a description of what happened. The operator may specify if the incident occurred during ingest or play-to-air via pick list. Users are able to select which applications were running when the incident occurred.
Once collected, this information can be sent immediately to Crispin from any Internet-enabled workstation.
