Front Porch Digital’s DIVArchive
At IBC2008, Front Porch Digital will showcase its newly released DIVArchive version 6.1 that features several key enhancements as well as the DIVAprotect option to deliver continuous storage monitoring.
The new DIVArchive v6.1 features include support for: multiple parallel transcodes; rebuild of damaged data tape functionality; DIVArchive components running as services; storage plan manager enhancements; LTO-4 tape drive; IBM TS3550 library support; and partial restore of Leitch AVI DV-25 and Matrox IMX50.
The DIVAprotect option for DIVArchive monitors storage devices and media performance as well as warns of degradation before it results in catastrophic data loss. This enables the user to predict and prevent storage failures by pre-emptive replacement of storage drives and media.
