The Globecomm media processing center integrated Inlet’s Spinnaker encoder to allow file-based and live video to be sent to a variety of access points.
Globecomm Systems has selected Inlet Technologies as one of its technology providers to support its media processing center in Long Island.
The Globecomm media processing center integrated Inlet’s Spinnaker and Fathom encoding solutions, which enable file-based and live video to be sent to a variety of access points, including content delivery networks, IPTV online networks or into a mobile access point.
Inlet’s Spinnaker provides live encoding for live media delivery applications such as IPTV, Web streaming, PEG, broadband TV, enterprise, education or government video. Inlet’s Fathom is an encoding and transcoding platform for VC-1, Windows Media, MPEG-4 and Flash files.
