Masstech Group showcased its MassStore WAM (workflow-based asset management) suite at IBC2008.
MassStore WAM is an end-to-end, fully integrated, enterprise-level workflow solution for live and file-based ingest, content transformation, production and news integration, business continuity, content delivery/distribution and portal connectivity.
The configurable WAM suite allows for automated processes with media-centric, federated access for global multisite operations. Native interoperability within broadcast infrastructure and exposed SOA services allow for business process and resource planning integration.
With M-Ingest, new content is ingested directly to the WAM’s content repository from where it can be moved to video servers, archive libraries, NLEs and playout devices or integrated into any workflow.
