Neutrik USA will introduce an enhanced IP65-rated OpticalCon connector at NAB2008 that has been upgraded for dust and water jet protection.
The upgrade extends the outdoor capabilities of the OpticalCon, making it well suited for mobile trucks and other outdoor broadcast settings. Sealing a connector to protect against dust and water jet is especially useful when weatherproof extensions are required.
