At IBC2008, Orad Hi-Tec Systems will highlight its Maestro 3-D character generator, featuring complete integration with its graphic asset management (GAM) system so users can store all graphic assets in a central database along with relevant metadata.
The new Maestro includes user-rights management to manage access permission rights associated with different assets. A new scene-edit module lets users modify or create new graphic scenes from scratch.
To support post-production tasks, Orad has added several functions to Maestro, including subtitle playout, video and audio ingest and interoperability with commonly used NLE systems. Other highlights include support for insertion and playback of up to 12 video clips, 3-D text handling and dynamic scene blending.
