The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority has installed QuStream's PESA Cheetah 128 and DRS routers for installation at its Monmouth Park Racetrack TV facility in Oceanport, NJ. The move is part of a major upgrade of the facilities, completed by systems integrator SPL Integrated Solutions, located in Columbia, MD, in preparation for broadcast coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which will be hosted at Monmouth Park in October. The two-day event will consist of 11 races, all of which will be broadcast and archived.
Both routers are full 128 x 128 matrix systems and offer a redundant power supply, SNMP compliance and hot-pluggable modularity, which make them ideal for live coverage of sports events. The routers also feature the company’s Viewport diagnostics system, allowing detailed monitoring of each card in the frame using a Windows-based display interface.
QuStream's 4RU DRS provides easy adjustment of gain, left/right summing and swapping and AES pair breakaway. The DRS is operated via QuStream's PERC2000 system controller.
