SysMedia to unveil newest version of WinCAPS subtitling software

SysMedia will launch innovations in subtitling preparation at IBC2009 and highlight its interactive multiplatform solution for three-screen content delivery.
The company will roll out the latest version of its WinCAPS subtitle preparation software, which improves preparation efficiency through the use of advanced speech- and language-processing tools.
The latest version offers automatic text-to-speech alignment, respeaking for live and offline subtitling, automated script imports, speaker change identification, file version comparison, multiple import and export formats, and a new InFILE subtitle insertion software for file-based workflows.
The company also will highlight its Plasma Gold software that extends broadcast, pay-TV and Internet TV services to virtually any set-top box, PC or Web-enabled mobile handset via an integrated broadcast and Web-based rich media gateway.
