WRNN installs 360 Systems servers to streamline operations

WRNN-DT, a local affiliate in Kingston, NY, has installed two 360 Systems Image Servers to handle everything from master control to news to loops, animation and backup. The station uses the Image Servers for master control, one is the primary server used for inserting spots and play-out that runs 24/7, and the other is a back-up. The regional news network is seen in more than 5 million cable homes, including all five boroughs of New York City.
The station distributes five hours of live programming per day, then runs commercials, infomercials and PSAs over cable and satellite networks, as well as broadcasting its digital content.
