Carnegie Hall leverages third stage for distance learning applications

Carnegie Hall is leveraging advanced digital technologies to expand its role as an international cultural center for musical performance and arts education. It recently established the Weill Music Institute and as well as its third stage, the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall, a flexible 600-plus-seat performance and education venue with advanced communication technology.

Carnegie Hall selected Ross Video’s Synergy 1 production switcher to control and route multiple sources and provide advanced visual effects. The product is currently used in Zankel Hall for various educational performances and events. The Weill Music Institute serves as the umbrella for Carnegie Hall’s music education programs as well as the catalyst for future educational initiatives.
