The Chimney Pot taps Digital Vision for image processing

Digital Vision, a developer of tools for digital media, has announced that The Chimney Pot, a digital production facility, has purchased its image processing equipment for installations in Norway, Poland, and Sweden.

The purchase includes two DVNR SD/HD with AGR4 ME and ASC3 ME image processing units for work on both features and commercials in Poland and Sweden, and two Film Master color grading systems—one for commercial work and one for features—in Norway.

The purchase of the new equipment comes in the middle of a period of expansion for The Chimney Pot. The company has seven facilities across Europe and plans to open a new site at Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden later on in 2007.

Digital Vision provides image restoration, enhancement, color correction and data conforming systems that major movie studios, television networks and post-production facilities use to produce and enhance feature films, TV programs and commercials. The company’s Nucoda product line provides a suite of products for tapeless and non-linear grading for HD broadcast and 2k/4k digital intermediate productions.
