In Amsterdam this week at IBC2007, Cinegy is showing multichannel playout and Internet broadcasting support for the Cinegy Air automation and playout server solution.

The company’s new Cinegy Air v4.0 makes it possible for hundreds of Cinegy Air server playout channels to be controlled from a single user interface. The control interface, called Cinegy Air Control, supports remote control of physically distant Cinegy Air servers connected via TCP/IP. The video playout monitor and control return signal is also delivered via TCP/IP, eliminating the need for an SDI or video cable connection.

The new version of Cinegy Air also has the ability to broadcast directly to the Internet using Windows Media steaming, which means that every Cinegy Air playout channel also can be set up to broadcast live on the Internet without requiring any additional hardware or software.
