New Web site offers information on CinePorter recorder

Specialized Communications unveiled a new Web site in which customers and prospective buyers of the CinePorter CP-2 HDD Recorder can see the product’s preliminary specifications, diagrams illustrating how the CinePorter mounts to P2 cameras and a 3-D video of the CinePorter concept. The company is also conducting a drawing for the first CinePorter off the production line.

The CinePorter works like a large P2 card while writing to a shock-mounted on-board hard drive with capacity options ranging from 100GB to 240GB. It offers longer recording times, convenience, compatibility and reliability. The CinePorter also offers a small footprint and an independent power source.
