Digital Rapids to feature new Transcode Manager Version 1.4

Apr 9, 2009 11:08 AM

Digital Rapids will be showing a new version of Transcode Manager, which provides centralized management, automation, fault tolerance and intelligent load balancing for high-volume, multiformat transcoding workflows, at the NAB Show.

A Transcode Manager server works with multiple transcode engines, intelligently assigning jobs for optimal throughput. Scalable from small transcoding farms to enterprise-level operations, Transcode Manager is well-suited for dedicated transcoding applications and as part of complete ingest-through-delivery media workflows.

Transcode Manager v1.4 features new or enhanced support for compression and container formats, including Avid DNxHD, LXF, GXF, DVCPRO and Dolby Digital Plus.

See Digital Rapids at the NAB Show in Booth SL6213.
