Digital Vision DVNR system comes to The Mill, New York

Digital Vision, a developer of advanced digital media applications, announced that The Mill, New York has purchased its DVNR system with the AGR4 ME film grain and video noise management option.

The company said the new system was being used to ensure pristine image quality on The Mill’s SD and HD commercial and music video projects.

Digital Vision’s DVNR Image Processing Workstation provides motion-compensated grain/noise management and dust/dirt removal tools. The AGR4 ME was designed for film, videotape restoration and MPEG pre-processing.

Advanced motion processing and adaptive 3-D filters enable facilities to produce cleaner, sharper pictures from film and video-originated material. It can be used for a wide range of applications, from reducing the intensity of film grain while preserving its structure to wiping out noise on video materials, and supports SD and HD, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, RGB and YUV video formats.
