Envision unveils 42in HDTV plasma screen at CES

At the 2006 International CES show, Envision introduced a 42in HDTV plasma screen in its AOC brand. The AOC A42HD84 plasma offers a 1024 x 768 resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a 160-degree viewing angle, and built-in 10W total speakers.

The plasma also features a dual NTSC/ATSC tuner for cable and digital broadcasts, and multiple RGB graphic and video inputs that allow direct computer hook-ups to various multimedia sources such as cable or a satellite set-top box, DVD player, game console or digital video camera. The device is configured with its multi-function remote control and a multiple picture mode offers normal, zoom, wide and cinema options.
