Fox News has deployed new software from Broadway Systems that allows it to precisely manage client commitments and advertising yields across its many digital cable distribution platforms. The Stewardship software, which has been successfully implemented, builds upon Broadway’s existing integrated sales, planning, programming, traffic and billing platform.
The company said design of the Stewardship software and its quick time to market is due to valuable feedback from system operators, including Fox News, on what cable networks require to provide their advertising clients with the best advantage for aggregating and measuring spots.
Cable networks have a large and ever-changing inventory of spots and impressions that they must manage and deliver against multiple agency and advertising clients. The Stewardship system tracks the entire process and keeps network personnel aware on a near real-time basis as to the over/under-delivery to the advertiser. This enables the network to monitor these deals in a more timely and efficient manner to make adjustments as necessary.
Broadway Systems will be demonstrating its Stewardship software system at the upcoming NAB convention (booth #N4131).
