Furman Sound has introduced a compact power conditioner, the AC-215.
The AC-215 features a low profile for mounting onto the back of a plasma or LCD screen or next to a projector. The unit protects against comprehensive surges and spikes.
At the heart of the AC-215 is Furman's series multi-stage protection plus (SMP+) circuit, which includes LiFT, SMP, and EVS. Linear filtering technology (LiFT) delivers linearly filtered AC power, reducing the noise that masks and distorts signal information. LiFT suppresses noise consistently across the entire dynamic range.
An extreme voltage shutdown (EVS) feature protects equipment by automatically powering down in the event of a sustained over-voltage, which is statistically the most common cause of equipment damage. The AC-215 includes two rear-panel outlets and mounting hardware.
