Gray Television Group purchases five Inscriber graphic systems

Inscriber’s Inca Station and Inca Studio systems will help Gray TV’s stations streamline their graphics production process.

Gray Television Group's WCAV-TV (CBS), WVAW-TV (ABC), and WAHU-TV (FOX), located in Charlottesville, Virginia, have purchased five Inscriber graphic systems. Their purchase of three Inca Station and two Inca Studio systems permits the three affiliate channels to improve their graphics capability and integrate with currently owned automation equipment.

The Inca Station systems will drive animated and still logos, multiple real-time data crawls and time and temperature information. They will be controlled by Sundance Digital automation systems to insert graphics, promotional clips, moving backgrounds, emergency programming, local news and advertising.

The Inca Studio systems will be deployed for on-air news. The systems will be connected to affiliates’ ENPS, AP's news production system, to drive over-the-shoulder graphics and lower-third animated graphics.
