Harris has promoted Cheng Fan to the new position of director, international channel development for its Broadcast Communications Division (BCD).
Fan has diverse international experience. Since 1999 he has served as regional sales manager for automation in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously he spent nine years with Scientific-Atlanta. He also spent six years with General Electric, handling engineering and project management assignments for various business divisions.
He holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the National University of Sao Paulo and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California State University.
