The company will publicly announce at NAB2006 in Las Vegas a sweeping reorganization of its MediaXtreme digital signage product line, distilling the company’s systems into two core products: the MediaXtreme media server and the MediaXtreme Media POD.
MediaXtreme is a professional media server with MediaScheduler software application that allows users to schedule playback of PC media, graphics, video and audio. As part of the reorganization, customers will be able to select robust configuration options, including control interface, CG and playlist software and I/O support, to tailor the MediaXtreme to their specific needs.
MediaXtreme Media POD is a stand-alone media player for point of decision digital signage applications in the retail market. The Media POD is a turnkey system that lets users create, schedule and playback digital signage presentations.
