Kramer’s 8x4 RGBHV and stereo audio matrix switcher
Kramer has introduced the VP-84ETH 8x4 RGBHV and balanced stereo audio matrix switcher. The VP-84ETH is an updated version of Kramer’s VP-84 matrix switcher with an Ethernet port added to provide remote control and remote status viewing over the Internet.

The device is an 8-input, 4-output matrix switcher with video bandwidth of over 300MHz at -3dB for high resolution RGBHV and balanced stereo audio signals. The unit allows video and audio breakaway switching, and can process various video signals including computer graphics video signals and HDTV signals.

The unit can be controlled via front panel buttons, IR remote control, RS-232/485 and the Ethernet port. K-Router control software is included with the switcher. The machine is housed in a standard 19in rack mount enclosure that is 3RU high. It is powered by a 220/110 VAC 50/60Hz power supply.
