KSHB, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City, MO, has installed Utah HD and SD master control processors, a UTAH-400 router and an SC-4 control system. KSHB also operates independent station, KMCI.

The new technology is replacing six legacy routers. The installation also incorporates all-new master control equipment, including two MCP-2020 panels, two SD-2020 processors, and two HD-2020 processors. The new master control system allows KSHB operators to switch four program streams from a single location.
