Linear Acoustic to unveil StreamStacker distribution system in August

Linear Acoustic will debut its StreamStacker-HD at the BIRTV2006 Convention and Exhibition in Beijing. The StreamStacker-HD is a high-density audio distribution system that comprises the Model 5173 encoder and the Model LA-5174 decoder. Using advanced multiplexing and coding technologies, multiple channels of PCM and emission rate audio can be combined with audio metadata and user definable auxiliary data, and then carried via a single AES/EBU-format digital pair. StreamStacker-HD is the first Linear Acoustic product to incorporate codecs from DTS and Coding Technologies.
