MicroFirst enhances digital automation system

MicroFirst’s digital automation system (DAS) features an embedded processing hardware platform, real time operating software, and task specific applications software.

The DAS is a fully expandable and extensible real-time automation and management system offering:

• Metadata management and device control.
• Media management.
• Logging functionality.
• Dynamic near real time integration with any traffic system

MicroFirst's real-time control OS, called WinMOS, was developed for the time-critical applications of the DAS. The OS features no waiting for long boot-up processes. The operating system typically boots in less than five and is Microsoft Windows compatible.

As standard the package comes with seven integrated DAS software GUI applications.
