Middle East broadcasting show caters to growing TV, radio and film industry

MEB 2005, the first annual Conference and Exposition of broadcast technology in Beirut, Lebanon, will take place Dec. 8-10. The organizer expects 120 exhibitors to showcase their technology products to 6000 buyers from 22 Middle Eastern countries.

The show was created to address the demand for equipment updates and the emergence of broadcast operations in the Middle East. Products featured will include equipment for video production, post-production, television broadcasting, radio, film/motion pictures, graphics/animation, audio, satellite and HDTV.

In addition to the broadcast technology exhibition, MEB 2005 will feature a programming exhibition, a talent showcase, a series of media conferences and a gala awards ceremony. One of the show highlights will be a fully functional HD television station broadcasting live from the show floor.
