Jul 27, 2006 8:00 AM

Netia is set to showcase its new Media Logging product aimed at broadcasters, telecom and mobile phone operators as well as Internet companies. At IBC2006, the company will demonstrate the ability to carry out the capture, indexing, transcoding and distribution of audio and video content.

With the Media Logging applications, video and audio files are captured 24 hours a day into the Media Logging database where they are individually examined, segmented and completed with the necessary associated metadata in an automatic or semi-automatic mode through the use of various speech-to-text and image recognition techniques. The complete range is fully Web-based.
