The FLOORMAN wireless, quad-split multiviewer ensures robust reception with UHF transmission and diversity reception.
At the NAB Show, BAL Broadcast showcased its new FLOORMAN personal wireless, quad-split multiviewer that allows four picture sources to be viewed on one handheld screen.
The cable-free device lets directors or any member of the production team view a shot from any camera wherever they are on the studio floor. The FLOORMAN is switchable to either quad-split or full screen by a touch-screen control.
The device allows program setup and direction from the studio floor, leading to enhanced creativity while reducing production time and costs. The FLOORMAN incorporates technology licensed from the BBC.
Diversity reception and licensed UHF channel transmission (Channels 21 to 68) make the transmission system robust even in noisy environments.
