OmniBus Systems iTX automation product enables mixing of HD and SD content

May 24, 2006 2:13 PM

OmniBus Systems’ iTX software-based automation was on display at NAB2006. Attendees of the conference were able to view the iTX intelligent transmission software, which enables workflow efficiencies and cost savings by replicating video server, master control, graphics and logo inserters. The system provides functionality, including automation, ingest, editing and basic content management without sacrificing sophistication.

This format-independent and bit rate-agnostic solution can mix DV, MPEG-1 through MPEG-4, AVI and WMV formats freely and will scale incoming media of any resolution to the appropriate output format, enabling SD and HD content to be mixed on the same playlist.
