Oxygen DCT releases new HDTV patch panels

Online broadcast systems equipment company Oxygen DCT has recently launched its new HDTV 1RU and 2RU patch panels and accessories.

These panels use a high performance connector system that is capable of carrying signals with a data rate in excess of 1.5Gb/s with minimal degradation. The connector also has an effective bandwidth of more than 2.4GHz.

Although designed for HDTV, the panels are also suitable for new installations involving composite analog video or serial digital video signals. The company said 2U 24-way panels or high-density 1U 24-way panels are currently available. A 2RU 32-way panel will be released later this month. All panels are made from a sturdy aluminum extrusion and come with designation strips. These new panels are complemented by a range of colored ULinks and patch cords, which are available in lengths of 450mm, 600mm, 900mm or 1200mm.
