Pacific Digital to integrate digital photo frames with Microsoft

Pacific Digital is collaborating with Microsoft to integrate its MemoryFrame family of digital picture frames into the upcoming release of Microsoft Windows Vista. The picture frames displaying digital photos and other content as an electronic scrapbook.

MemoryFrame products will use Windows Vista features such as Windows Media Connect, Windows Connect Now and RSS Feeds. The frame can either be connected to the computer wirelessly or via USB 2.0. When the frame is switched on it will discover the Windows Vista shared media and instantly begin displaying content. If no system is found the MemoryFrame will revert to content stored in its internal memory. Multiple frames can networked to run slide shows simultaneously on each frame or individually programmed for the location.
