Panasonic’s PT-D3500U DLP projector
Panasonic has unveiled an addition to its line of digital light processing (DLP) projectors, the one-chip PT-D3500U.

The projector displays 1024x768 XGA resolution images at a contrast ratio of 1600:1 and offers a brightness of more than 3500 lumens. The 17.4lb unit features lens shift, center lens design and interchangeable lenses.

When connected to a wired LAN, a user can operate a PT-3500U remotely. Status can be checked using a Web browser on a networked PC, while the projector can send e-mail messages to notify a user when the unit’s operating condition changes or a lamp needs replacing.
