Peerless Industries and Grupo Televisa are bringing digital signage to the Mexican marketplace on a large scale. Peerless Industries’ subsidiary Peerless de Mexico has signed an agreement with Grupo Televisa to design, develop and integrate digital signage networks in Mexico.

Under the terms of the agreement, Peerless will provide comprehensive services to Grupo Televisa, such as designing specific mounts for targeted locations and supplying certified professional-grade mounting solutions that conform to global standards from Underwriters' Labs, Video Electronics Standards Association and the International Standards Organization. Peerless will work with Grupo Televisa to develop various mounting solutions that will maximize screen visibility and minimize potential damage to equipment and liability, while enhancing security. Peerless also will develop a training program for the installation teams, assuring that every mount is installed securely and safely.

Peerless Industries is scheduled to provide more than 5000 custom mounting solutions to be placed in multiple retail locations across Mexico in 2006. These mounts are utilized near checkout registers, in produce departments and around delicatessen and supermarket aisles.
