The new Pixelmetrix DVStation-IP Portable is a new, stand-alone product ideal for anyone involved in the transmission on MPEG-2 data over the Internet or other IP networks.
The product is packaged in a portable package and supports 10-, 100-, and 1000Mb/s Ethernet. Once connected to an IP network, the DVStation-IP Portable can be set to sniff out video traffic on any set of IP address pairs, extract the MPEG-2 transport stream and perform extensive MPEG-2 verification.
Optional features include an instant message (IM) alarm plug-in. Once configured, the device will transmit an instant message upon detecting any user-defined alarm condition. Alarms can be any user-defined to an event such as SNMP TRAP, GPI closure, RF problems, transport stream issues or even loss of subtitles or incorrect language codes.
