Pro-Bel to roll out new router, entry-level automation system

An NAB2007, Pro-Bel will unveil the Cygnus router and the Morpheus Foundation, an entry-level automation system.

Cygnus is a new router that combines a compact form factor with the latest routing technology. Cygnus is 1080p 3Gb/s native and offers up to 576 x 576 routing in a single 26RU housing (including PSUs), with industry-standard BNC connectors.

Other features include redundant crosspoints and dual redundant power supplies and controllers, as well as four reference inputs for multistandard operation.

Pro-Bel's new entry-level automation system Morpheus Foundation offers many of the advanced features of the company's flagship Morpheus system but in a compact, lower cost package suitable for one to six channels.
