Scala, a provider of end-to-end software solutions for creating and controlling digital signage networks, has signed an agreement with the major shareholders of Streambase Technologies to acquire Norwegian-based Streambase Technologies, content management and video server network manufacturers.
Gerard Bucas, Scala's chairman and CEO, said the acquision brings complementary technology to Scala's InfoChannel content creation and delivery platform for large digital signage networks.
