Barco screens have been installed in some of the busiest areas in the center of Baku, Azerbaijan, a city with more than 2 million inhabitants.

SI Luxury World (SI LW) has selected Barco's large screen display solutions for a digital signage network of LED displays in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. SI LW uses the screens for city information, messaging and advertising. The network, operated by Sirius Hi-Tech, consists of seven outdoor LED displays.

The digital signage network consists of seven Barco outdoor LED displays with a surface of 8m˛ each. The screens have been installed in some of the busiest areas in the center of Baku, a city with more than 2 million inhabitants. Each display is integrated in specifically designed street furniture. SI LW has confirmed the order for a 8th display, 24m˛ in size, and based on Barco’s SLite outdoor LED display solution, which has a 14mm visual resolution. Next to the LED displays, two Solaris LC40 40in LCD displays have been installed in SI LW stores.

The LED and LCD displays are connected to a privately-owned high-speed fiber optical network. Barco’s Signamics software for content scheduling and display management is used to update and schedule the content on the different displays from a central location, at Hyatt Tower 3.
