TANDBERG to launch HD version of Intelligent Compression Engine

TANDBERG Television will launch several new products and demonstrate end-to-end systems for cable, satellite, terrestrial and telco networks, across all professional encoding platforms at IBC2004.

The company will launch a high-definition version of its Intelligent Compression Engine (ICE) for MPEG-4 part-10/AVC and Windows Media 9 Series.

The company also will show a wide range of solutions, including an end-to-end VOD system.

The new On Demand platform includes TANDBERG Television's Encoding Studio for content ingest; N2 Broadband's back-office systems, the latest Entone video server and TANDBERG Television's EQ6800 newly enhanced high-density cable EdgeQAM.
