Technical Awareness conference to demo uses of AAM/MXF technology

Several broadcast technology companies are teaming up to put on the Technical Awareness Event & Conference next week in Burbank, CA.

The event, which is sponsored by the AAF Association, in cooperation with Avid, Automatic Duck and Snell & Wilcox, will provide a variety of technical demonstrations, user and manufacturer panels, and other sessions aimed at content producers and technical staff. The two-day event will take place at the Hilton Burbank Airport and Conference Center beginning July 11.

Representatives from major industry companies will address issues of metadata and AAM/MXF workflows, compliance, implementation and product plans. Speakers will describe AAF/MXF from a technical standpoint and illustrate actual metadata workflows in use today. Attendees will learn how users can rely on new solutions to improve workflow, reduce rekeying of critical information and save money on production.
