The RCP-TS Remote Control Panel features a Microsoft Windows XP embedded operating system with a touch-screen GUI.
Addressing the increasing need for network-based control in camera automation, Telemetrics has introduced its new RCP-TS Remote Control Panel. Using a standard network platform, the panel provides a single operator with comprehensive control of camera operations, making it ideal for broadcast, weather/traffic camera or satellite news remote applications from virtually any location.
The system features a Microsoft Windows XP embedded operating system with a touch-screen GUI to control pan, tilt, zoom and focus with a joystick, as well as an assignable CCU function. The unit accommodates control of up to 50 cameras and devices via flexible transmission, with up to 16 memory position presets per camera.
It also features a preset video switcher to provide previews, upgradeable firmware and control of weather-proof camera functions including wiper, washer, extender and camera power.
The product is compatible with Hitachi Z series cameras, Panasonic AWE Series, AK-HC1500 cameras and Sony HDC-X300/310, DXC-990, Ikegami HDL-40 (U4 Protocol) cameras and JVC KY series cameras, and offers full camera control and scene presets for each. It also supports remote power outlets.
