Thales introduces mobile TV solution

Thales introduced its end-to-end solution addressing video for mobile receivers at NAB2005.

The system can be interfaced with mobile operator’s conditional access and billing systems. It is designed to handle various content from providers, and works with any DVB-H compliant receiver.

DVB-H is a new standard designed to address video broadcasting to handheld devices, allowing TV channels to be received on mobile devices such as PDAs or mobile phones.
