TV Magic helps religious network move to digital format

Like many broadcast stations making the transition from VTR to digital format, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) needed a reliable upgrade solution that was also cost-effective for installation at 26 of its 30 stations. It found what it needed in 360 Systems' Image Server 2000.

TBN needed the ability to ingest and play back local content with closed captioning information through an automated system at an affordable price point. TV Magic based the installation on the Image Server 2000 server from 360 Systems, receiving support and services from the server vendor throughout the process. The company, which was recording local programming to tape for play-to-air, says the digital servers provide more flexibility.

The TBN faith channel reaches multiple continents and more than 12,000 TV and cable affiliates worldwide.
