VertigoXmedia introduces VxASI module for single box conversion

VertigoXmedia introduced a new option for its VertigoXG SD/HD graphics system. By providing DVB-ASI and GigE inputs with real-time PID selection, demuxing and decoding of MPEG-2 video and audio streams, the optional VxASI module converts the VertigoXG into a single-box solution for distributed branding, switching, and localizing of content.

The VertigoXG enables the creation of data-driven, templated broadcast graphics in HD and SD by dragging and dropping graphics elements from a customizable library. With its graphics rendering, clip capture and playback, SD/HD cross-conversion and dynamic data-driven playback performance, the VertigoXG provides single- or dual-channel graphics and video playout capabilities for a wide range of advanced real-time broadcast applications.
