The sale of VertigoXmedia’s broadcasting division to Miranda Technologies is complete. Part of the deal also resulted in a new company, X2O Media, which is being billed as an end-to-end digital signage and creative design solution provider.

Prior to the sale, the assets and staff of Vertigo's Digital Signage division and Creative Services team were spun off to form X2O Media, which will be headed by former VertigoXmedia President and CEO David Wilkins. The company will showcase its flagship digital signage product, Xpresenter, and demonstrate the company's remote monitoring, content creation services, and managed networking services at InfoComm in Orlando, FL June 7-9.

X2O Media will offer a wide array of digital signage services that provide solutions for signage deployments. The new company's services include content creation, management, distribution and production services, as well as network management, network monitoring and server hosting, integration, installation and support and data automation.

X2O will also provide creative design services for broadcast graphics and other types of digital content. Its Creative Services team specializes in the design of graphics on a wide variety of 2D and 3D graphics platforms for TV productions such as the Super Bowl, the World Series and US presidential elections.
