WAVE West of California becomes Exodus Technology & Engineering

Jul 13, 2006 8:00 AM

Paul Gomes has acquired the assets and employees of WAVE West of California and will operate under the name Exodus Technology & Engineering. Gomes will oversee sales and administration of the operation, which is based in Santa Ana, CA.

Prior to forming Exodus, Gomes served as western U.S. sales manager at BARCO for seven years and was distribution manager for Advanced Media Design for three years.

At WAVE, Gomes orchestrated the merger of WAVE East with WAVE West when he joined the latter division, creating a unified national entity with the purchase of the former’s assets and employees.

Exodus will serve the integrated A/V technology and engineering market, and its engineers will build, install, maintain and service a wide variety of systems. The company will maintain a fabrication shop and warehouse at its headquarters. It is in this facility that all Exodus systems are fully tested as complete systems prior to delivery to job sites.
