Sibir Telecom selects Orca Interactive for IPTV service
Russian system integrator Open Technologies has deployed Orca Interactive’s RiGHTv IPTV middleware for Sibir Telecom, one of the largest telecommunication operators in Russia.
Using Orca's RiGHTv middleware, Sibir Telecom's IPTV service includes broadcast television, electronic programming guide (EPG), radio channels, video on demand, network PVR and time-shifted TV.

Sonaecom selects CopperGate HomePNA 3 technology
Sonaecom, Portugal’s second largest telecommunications provider, has selected CopperGate’s CopperStream technology for its Clix SmarTV IPTV service.
CopperGate’s CopperStream chipsets, available embedded in set-top boxes, residential gateways and other equipment, provide a complete HomePNA 3 home networking solution. HomePNA 3 features guaranteed QoS, as well as remote management and diagnostic features.

Iowa Telco LISCO relies on Occam Networks for FTTH project
Local Internet Service Company (LISCO), a competitive local exchange carrier  serving the Fairfield, IA, area, has begun purchasing Occam Network’s BLC 6000 fiber products as part of a strategy to overbuild the community with fiber to the home (FTTH).
LISCO has purchased Occam’s 6312 Optical Line Termination blades and 6314s 10GigE Optical Packet Transport and Optical Line Termination blades. When complete, LISCO will be able to offer Triple Play services to about 4000 residential subscribers.

Terayon selects NetLogic Microsystems processors
Terayon has selected NetLogic Microsystems processors for its next-generation IPTV and Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) systems.
NetLogic Microsystems’ processors are used to accelerate advanced Internet Protocol (IP) functions, such as forwarding and access control list (ACL) implementation.

B2 Digital, Multiband Subscriber Services reach IPTV hospitality accord
B2 Digital and Multiband Subscriber Services have entered into an agreement to provide the Hotelguide television guide channel to B2Digital's customers and properties in the hospitality industry.
The new service is “an important step in our pursuit of the complete implementation of IPTV services,” said B2Digital's CEO Robert Russell.
