Digital Rapids to unveil latest StreamZ Live media encoder at IBC2008

Digital Rapids will introduce new versions of its StreamZ Live media encoders, Broadcast Manager enterprise-level management and control software and StreamZ and StreamZHD studio media ingest, encoding, transcoding and streaming applications at IBC2008.
StreamZ Live provides encoding for live IPTV channels, webcasting and mobile video. The encoder supports a choice of formats, including H.264/AVC, VC-1/WMV, On2 VP6 for Adobe Flash, MPEG-2 and 3GPP/Mobile.
Digital Rapids’ Broadcast Manager manages and controls multiple live streaming encoders. It supports centralized scheduling, monitoring and remote control as well as automated failover and alerts. New features include mosaic-style multichannel confidence monitoring and router matrix control.
The latest versions of the StreamZ and StreamZHD software provide studio media ingest, encoding, transcoding and streaming with hardware-based preprocessing and simultaneous output to multiple formats including AVC/H.264, VC-1/WMV, Flash, 3GPP, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 and QuickTime.
