EchoStar Europe aims to help operators deliver next-gen services with advanced STBs

EchoStar Europe introduced a range of advanced set-top boxes, digital video recorders and other devices for cable, IPTV, satellite and terrestrial operators as part of its growth plans for the EMEA region during IBC2008.
According to the company, the goal is to leverage its strengths in providing end-to-end broadcast systems so operators can provide customers with high-quality, efficient next-generation services. At IBC2008, the company demonstrated core hardware technologies and software to benefit cable, IPTV, satellite and DTT operators.
