ICTV this week is making the European debut of its personalized navigational mosaic for the multichannel video industry at IBC2007.
Using its ActiveVideo Distribution Network (AVDN), which can seamlessly combine linear, on-demand and broadband programming, ICTV is able to offer P:Mosaic, a video-rich mosaic that enables navigation of multiple programming sources. Viewers can use their remote control to tailor the mosaic to group and show only programs of interest. Personal profiles can also be managed online using any Web connected device.
The AVDN blends an interactive viewer experience with high video quality and responsiveness to create a dynamic environment that combines the best features of broadband and TV media.
